Jennifer grew up in a small town in Connecticut. She was constantly creating and designing looks since the moment she could walk. Jennifer attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and after internships at What Comes Around Goes Around and Nylon magazine she fell into what she was always meant to do: jewelry design. Jennifer has been an avid vintage collector since the age of twelve and would come home after work and re-work vintage jewelry into her own. It wasn't until after she started wearing her pieces to work and receiving custom orders from people on the streets of New York and Los Angeles that she knew she had to follow her passion.
Jennifer Elizabeth jewelry is handmade in New York City and sold at select, specialty boutiques across America. She opened a store in 2011 in Rhode Island that sold her jewelry collection and vintage clothing, but after missing the city, she closed in 2013 and moved back to the East Village.
Jennifer's passion for creativity coincides with her love of animals. She prides herself in being a voice of the un-heard. She has created capsule collections for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Africa and the Warren Animal Shelter in Warren, Rhode Island. She is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society in New York and is designing a collection where a percentage of the proceeds will be given to #SaveThemAll.
Jennifer is extremely passionate about creating a brand that meets the need of her customers and finding elements to use that are not seen everywhere. Jennifer Elizabeth is a trend focused brand and is always at the forefront of whats new. Jennifer Elizabeth has been featured in Italian Vogue, Glamour, InStyle, and many, many others. The fashion jewelry lines has been seen on such celebrities as Kim Kardashian West, Sarah Jessica Parker, Macy Gray, Wendy Williams and Countess Luann de Lesseps.
